OUR
STORY

Wolf Projects Limited is a homegrown company led by myself - Jarrod Tua in Auckland, New Zealand.

I whakapapa to a small place up north in Whangaroa ki Matangirau and Kaiaua down south. I attended Te Kura Māori o Ngā Tapuwae in South Auckland for 7 years and learnt great values as a young Māori coming through the ranks.

Rugby league was my passion and I played for the Mangere East Steel Hawks through my junior years. I was fortunate to get a contract at the age of 18 for the Newcastle Knights U20s for two years.

On my return home, I was blessed with an opportunity to complete an apprenticeship in carpentry with Bridge City Construction & Interiors. The boss Mark Bedford (also a big league fan) supported me in continuing to chase my dream as a league player. While working towards my apprenticeship I played 3-4 years in the Warriors Reserve Grade and with the Mt Albert Lions winning my first Fox Premiership in 2012.

On completion of my National Certificate in Carpentry, my wife and I moved to the Gold Coast as I continued to pursue my league dream and secured a contract with the Burleigh Bears (feeder club to the Gold Coast Titans). We won the Queensland Cup Championship and were runners up for the A grade competition in 2016.

With great news of a baby on the way, my wife and I returned home where I worked as a Site Manager for a year.

I had a vision to start my own building company and a passion to create opportunities for my family, league friends and young Māori and Pasifika men like myself to grow. Offering the same opportunity that my boss gave me - the chance to chase a dream while setting up other pathways for the future.

I’m passionate about my team and whānau - offering them the tools to make a difference in their lives. Building better men for the future. As a team, we’re always finding ways to elevate our skills on and off site.
